Maybe your answer is, "No." or your not sure.
Maybe you think you do,... but can't give a definite, "Yes."
Maybe, you know you did at one point in your life,.... but have, "back slidden". (gave up and or never got to know Him better.)
St. John 3:16(NIV) (The book of St. John, 3rd chapter, 16th verse, New

16."For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,[a]
that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
Now for verse 17...
17.For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him."
He loves us!
He didn't send Jesus to condemn us,... but to save us from all the bad
things,(going to Hell) and wants nothing but the BEST for us.
Now when your a Christian, it doesn't mean you won't have problems. It
just means you will have, "tools" to help combat those problems, and
have the ability to have a better, fuller life! It's up to you to use
those TOOLS

Now, the book of Romans 10: 9, 10 & 13.(NIV) (Romans, chapter 10, verses 9, 10 & 13.)
9. "That if you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe
in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
(when he was nailed to the Cross, and he rose from the dead on the third day, see the book of St. John, chapters 18 - 20.)
10.For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.
13. for, Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."
